It's been half a year since I joined the the family of Meshradio. It's probably the only place, outside my own bedroom where I can play whatever tunes that tickle my ears. Flash back to a year and half ago, I was at my most pessimistic when it came to all aspects of life over here; everything seemed stale and everyone smell suspiciously like a stinking corpse.

After staying away for a good period of time, it does wonder to re-kindle my faith in creativity and getting back into the music side of things. By keeping my head up and ears open, here's another installment of Fixation.

For those who are out and about, you may even tune in with your iphones and compete your hip factor with those kids. What is it like for a girl in the band...hehe! Kim sings it all out in the first tune, Scared Trickster from Sonic Youth’s upcoming album The Eternal . There's a free download here for fans as well. Even though the band's been around for ages, their music still wakes me up from the slumber!

Xperiment & Xplore, that's what I have been doing for the whole of this month during my spare time. Much of the selection was inspired by taking in the sights and sounds of unconventional people living in the FringE (Another DIY pictorial project to buzz myself).

Yo, Valentine! Do check out my radio show later on. It's another labour of passion and I'm glad to be a part of the movement to get the music out. Unlike spinning to the dancefloor in a club, doing a radio show appeals to me in the sense that there is less of a concern with the crowd not feeling it.

Below is the list of tunes kicking my eardrums. For some, the artists even put them up for your downloading pleasure. To listen to the live broadcast of the 2 hour show, just log on to Meshradio. Mine will be the first to come on air followed by 2 other interesting segments, then the sequence will be repeated for the whole day.
